The biannual JH Designers along with Friends of the Library Fashion Show is Saturday August 12th at All Season’s Ranch Barn (located behind Bison Ranch.) This year’s theme is Four Shades of Beauty, meant to be a reflection of the theme of our beautiful community’s four seasons. If it was anything like two years ago, this will be the party of the year…complete with a cash bar, dinner & dessert, the fashion show, live music by High Country Jammers, lots of prizes, raffles and an auction. This year as before, the event is for all adults – men and women!
Jeffrey Sacino and Henry Soyos of JHDesigners are the party planners along with help from the Friends of the Library and others in the community. “We are so thankful for the support of our valued clientele and the library volunteers who jumped right in and helped get the word out,” said Jeffrey. Jeffrey does the planning and organizing for the food and details of the event, while Henry is working on securing the gifts from local merchants to raffle, wraps the gifts and does the exquisite decorating, which by the way this year’s colors are black and silver. Henry also helps to choose the models’ clothing and does the fittings.
Models this year include some from last year but a lot of new ones as well. “Many of our clients asked to be included this year,” Jeffrey told me. “We have some wild and crazy gals who want to get in on the fun.” There will also be some men and a couple children modeling as well.
The clothing will be from Flare of Pinetop, H.O.S.T. and Addie’s. There may be some additional Show Low area retailers but confirmation hadn’t been received as of press time.
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available now at JHDesigners or the Rim Community Library for a donation of $20 each. Come out for an evening of fun and laughter for a great cause – the all-volunteer Rim Community Library which provides an invaluable service to everyone in Heber-Overgaard.
