After three long years, EAA Chapter 1044 is proud to announce the return of our annual Pancake Breakfast and Fly-In at Mogollon Airpark. Our first pancake breakfast was in 1994 – 24 years ago!
Please come and join us for pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee. Proceeds from this event go back to the community. With the support of our Heber-Overgaard neighbors and pilots flying in from around the state, we have donated over $38,000 to the local community over the years.
One of the goals of our Chapter is to promote aviation within the community. To that end, three years ago, we started our Youth Aviation Education Program by establishing a scholarship fund to send local Heber-Overgaard youth to summer camp in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where they discover aircraft building, maintenance and flying. This year we added our new Youth Build Project where we mentor local youth in the restoration of a home-built aircraft. We encourage any H-O students interested in learning more about our scholarship or the youth build project to come to the Fly In and visit our booth.
We’ll have lots of vendors and exhibitors attending – check our website (eaachapter1044.org) for more information as this list is updated frequently. There will be planes on display and pilots flying in for some breakfast (and to get out of the heat of the valley.)
Mark your calendars for July 14th from 7am – 11am. We can’t wait to see you!
