Last day of school party

Heber, AZ
Always fun to sing YMCA song!

Heber Overgaard Schools celebrated the school year end with a party on the fields of Mogollon High School. The kids played Olympic type games that got them running, jumping and moving to the beat of fun dance tunes that were blasted across the football field.

Heber, AZFor the second year Mountain Meadows librarian, Angela Reidhead, spearheaded the day of play with lots of help from volunteers and other teachers. Everyone wore school spirit T-shirts made for the event with each grade a different color.

Lunch was donated by community members. Thank you to all those who donated food and supplies – it would not have been possible without your help! A special shout out to Principle Tim Slade who took more than one for the team in the dunk tank. The faulty chair tore up the back of his shirt and took some flesh with it. Ouchie!

Poor Mr. Slade was getting skewered each time he took a dunk!
