Navajo County Sheriff Report Aug-Sep 2018

The unincorporated areas of Area 3 including Pinedale, Claysprings, Overgaard, and  Heber are provided law enforcement services by the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office. The following are some of the calls for service for the weeks of August 26, 2018 through.

 

On Sunday August 26, 2018 Navajo County deputies responded to the 2000 block of SR 260 in in Overgaard about an animal problem.  Two dogs were left in in the sun in a vehicle without water.  The animals were rescued and taken by animal control.  On August 28th the owner, Jay Joslin (29) of Payson AZ, was arrested for animal abuse.  Jay was cited and later released.

 

On Tuesday August 28, 2018 deputies responded to the 2000 block of Zane Grey in Heber about a court order violation.  After investigation Brett Partridge, (41) of Morris Town, AZ, was arrested for violating a court order (an order of protection).  Brett was booked into the Navajo County Jail Annex in Show Low.

 

On Thursday August 30, 2018 Navajo County deputies responded to the 2000 block of Tenderfoot Trail in Overgaard about a domestic issue.  After investigation Nolan Scheneman, (21) of Overgaard was arrested for assault, criminal damage, and disorderly conduct per domestic violence.  Nolan was booked into the Navajo County Jail Annex in Show Low.

 

On Sunday September 2, 2018 Navajo County deputies responded to the 2000 block of Zamorano Lane in Overgaard about criminal damage.  After investigation Travis Roesener (45) of Coolidge, was arrested for cutting down his neighbor’s fence.  Travis was booked into the Navajo County Jail Annex in Show Low.

 

On Sunday September 2, 2018 deputies responded to the 2000 block of Wildcat Trail in Overgaard about an assault.  After investigation Jesse Herbert, (27) of Overgaard, was arrested for assault.  Jesse was booked into the Navajo County Jail Annex in Show Low.

 

On Wednesday September 5, 2018 Navajo County deputies responded to the 2000 block of Country Club Drive in Overgaard about a male shouting in the area.  After investigation John Perkins, (45) of Heber was arrested for DUI.  John was cited and later released from the scene.

 

On Friday, September 28, 2018 Deputies were driving in the area of SR 277 MP/310 in the Heber area when they pulled over a vehicle for a civil traffic violation.  Upon investigating, Marlin Begay, (25) of Ganado, was arrested for Aggravated DUI. The passenger, Cedrick Begay, (30) of Ganado, was arrested for a valid arrest warrant.  Marlin and Cedrick were booked into the Navajo County Jail Annex in Show Low.
